Visit & Volunteer

Making meaningful connections between pigs & humans is our purpose.

It’s part of our mission for as many people to meet pigs as possible! If you're a Central Texas local who loves pigs, we'd be honored for you to attend an event or volunteer with us! Read on for all of our opportunities to get involved!
CTPR is a 100% volunteer-run organization, so every single volunteer we have is a valued, critical member of our team, and every visitor is a new opportunity for a pig to make a special friend!

If you’re not near us but want to visit a sanctuary or volunteer, check out this farm animal sanctuaries directory!

While most of our Animal Care Team members spend time on site feeding pigs and performing manual labor, there are many other ways to help. Scroll to the bottom to learn about some specialized help we need!

Volunteer Workdays

We host 1-2 Volunteer Workdays per month as an introduction to CTPR’s volunteer program! These are 3 hour structured projects led by one of our team members. Attend as many as you’d like, or level up after 3 VWD’s and officially get trained to join the team!

Tours & Events

From watermelon & pumpkin smash events to SnoutFest, we love to host unique and fun events where you’ll spend tons of time with the residents!

Corporate or Group Day

We’d love to host your team, department, or class! Organize a tour or volunteer event for team building & to learn all about pigs!

Private Tours

CTPR visits are by appointment only as our volunteer team is usually busy caring for the residents. We’d love for you to join an already-scheduled volunteer or tour event, but we understand people have special events or may be visiting the area and need certain accommodations. Please reach out for more info!
